Sales Development Representative - Europe

At Electric Ant Lab, we know that the key to growth is a high-performing Sales Team. That’s why we are seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) for our outbound lead generation program. The SDR will be responsible for finding and screening potential customers in Europe, who can benefit from our unique simulation software RheoCube. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, managing prospects, and setting our sales executives up for success. Our new SDR must be a quick learner with strong communication skills, and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Objectives of this Role

Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to customer research with the goal to generate leads. Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps. Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Utilize Hubspot, Zoominfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, cold-calling and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify problems that RheoCube can help solve for potential clients
  • Build trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings with (prospective) clients and sales executives
  • Report to Team Lead Sales EU with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

About Electric Ant Lab

Electric Ant Lab and its unique simulation software RheoCube is a VC-backed tech company based in Amsterdam. RheoCube is a simulation software designed for experimental scientists. It’s the first software of it’s kind - in UI, scale of simulations and computing resources - that puts the power of lab-scale simulation in the hands of R&D scientists or non-simulation experts. EAL was founded in 2015 and now has a team of about 35 people, with 15 different nationalities and 12 PhDs in relevant fields.

About the application process

  • The process consists of three interview rounds for team and culture fit, technical interview, and a final talk with the CCO.
  • We could be having our first interview next week, if you're up for that.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or at 2+years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in English
  • Self-starter with a desire to learn, grow, and excel in sale
  • 1-2 years of software sales experience, with a history of exceeding targets
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to grow within our sales organization
  • You are customer-focused, creative, an effective communicator in both written and verbal forms, and analytical by nature
  • Willingness to travel

A bonus would be

  • A university degree in Chemistry or a related field
  • Prior experience working in a venture backed scale-up environment
  • Selling into large enterprises
  • Experience using CRM systems
